Ridden Classes Judge: Miss Keeley McClarence

  Ring 1 To start 11 o’clock

1.     Best Turned out Pony or Horse and Rider

  2. Leading Rein Pony: Mare or Gelding 4yrs old and over. Not

            exceeding 12.2hh. To be ridden by a child 9yrs and under.                   

  3. First Ridden- Snaffle Bridle only: Rider 11yrs and under.

  4. Best Riding Pony: Not exceeding 14.2hh

  5. Ridden Coloured Pony/ Horse

  6. Best Local Pony: Mare or Gelding 4yrs and over. Ridden by a

 child who has not attained his or her 17th birthday on the 1st January of the current year. Open to Pony/ Horse and rider

           residing within 6 miles of Llansilin.

  7. Best Young Rider: For ponies any height and to be ridden by a

            child 10yrs and under. No lead reins allowed.

  8. Best Young Rider: For Ponies/ Horses any height and to

           be ridden by a child 11- 16yrs old.

  9. Ridden veteran: Any height over 15yrs old.

  10. Ridden M+M

  11. Best Local Horse: Mare or Gelding 4yrs and over. Ridden by a

           person over 17yrs. Open to horse and rider residing within 6 

           miles of Llansilin.

  RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIPS: 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 1- 11 to compete       

In-Hand classes Judge: Mr Scott Matthews

  Ring 2 To start 11.30

1.     Best turned out: Pony/ Horse and Handler

  2.     Young Handlers: For ponies up to 14.2hh led by a child 16yrs

                and under. Hard hats must be worn.

  3. Best Local Pony/ Horse and Handler: Residing within 6 miles  

                of Llansilin.

  4. In hand mixed M+M: Any age to be shown in natural state

  5. Young stock class: Yearlings two and three yrs old, any breed,

               any height.

  6. In- hand coloured Pony/Horse: open to any age

  7. Veteran In- hand class: Any height over 15yrs old

  IN- HAND CHAMPIONSHIP: 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 1- 7 to compete

  BEST LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Winners from classes 6 & 11 (ridden) and class 3 (in-hand)

  OVERALL SUPREME: Champions from rings 1 & 2, and best local champion to compete

  CHILD THAT TRIES THE HARDEST: A prize will be given by the organisers to the child that tried the hardest on the day

Llansilin show committee or any land owners will not be held responsible for any injury to horse or persons, but all precautions will be taken.

   

Hard hats to the correct standard and showing the BSI

Kitemark, must be worn for all ridden and young handlers

Classes.

 

Hot and cold food will be available on the field.
